Uma inspiração! Um privilégio!

Rufus Malim, Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, Instituto Terra e Memória (Mação), doutorando em Estudos da História da Arqueologia e da Antropologia, é autor do livro The Hopeful Journey e a convite da nossa Diretora de Turma, a Professora Sílvia Ramadas, veio ao nosso Agrupamento para falar deste livro de que tanto se orgulha.

A ideia subjacente ao convite é fazer desta partilha de ideias e de estratégias inspiradoras, um exemplo para nós, alunos do 10º ano, da turma A. No nosso Agrupamento temos um projeto de leitura, 10 minutos de leitura, que tem como objetivo fazer com que todos os alunos aperfeiçoem as suas competências no que à leitura diz respeito. Assim, o Rufus foi, para muitos de nós, inspirador! Mostrou-nos com arrebatador entusiasmo como se pode começar o processo da escrita, os elementos inspiradores, as influências, enfim, enunciou muitas das coisas que nos podem inspirar! A música, os filmes, os jogos, a arte, as lendas, o folclore e a nossa imaginação, às vezes até os nossos sonhos são fontes de inspiração! Quem sabe um dia destes, escrevamos um livro! … Quem sabe um dia destes, apresentemos o livro que andamos a ler no projeto 10 minutos de leitura!

Tudo isto apresentado em Inglês, pois o nosso estimado Rufus is very British, indeed!

Para nós, foi tudo aquilo que passamos a descrever…

So this presentation really stimulated my taste for this kind of books, and I even started reading the Game of Thrones books again.

Rufus’s presentation is well organized, divided into different themes, such as games, music, artwork, etc. His presentation shows that there are many different themes to choose from when writing a book, some of them being writing a book about a film, trying to describe a piece of art by writing a book about it, writing about traditions and many others.
