If you’re seeing this, I’m probably dead, but just let me tell you…

I think I’ve been on this island for over three… four… years, I don’t quite know the time. But I have no hope of leaving alive so I’ll tell you the following… I woke up here with nothing and no idea of survival so, I thought of building a shelter as soon as possible before I could explore deeper on the island. I pitched a tent and tried to make fire… and I managed to continue surviving. So, as time went by I no idea of time, but after that I’ve just continued exploring the island and found more resources to try to live as long as possible, but now with nothing I’m just sitting writing on a random paper.

Hello!

My namy is Keira Smith and I’m 19 years old. I come from Orlando in the USA.

I’m stuck on an island and the worst thing is there’s nothing to do, nothing to wear!

My cousin and I have been stuck here since the day we went boating.

I don’t really remember what happened because I hit on something and I know that the boat capsized off taking all our goods with it…

My cousin is fine and I only have a cut on my head…

This place is half desert, though it has lots of apples on the east side of Malibu, California, a very charming city where we usually go as a family.

We have been here for two months and 20 days… These days my cousin Jack and I did a lot! We built a charming and very big tree house. He helped me when it came to finding food!

Yet, we got any enemy on this island, a tigress which was very hungry and just wanted to attack us.

We spend our time playing games…

I feel sad, desperate, homesick and I miss my family and friends.

I’m afraid of dying of boredom or even just die with no goods or clothes.

When you read this message, please let our family know…

Hi! I’m Angelo!

I’m 15 years old and I’m lost on an island with nothing. I was on my way to the Netherlands when my boat sank.

To spend my time I like catching coconuts, walking on the sand and sunbathing. I’ve been here for a few weeks and I’m starting to worry that no one’s coming for me.

In terms of food I have caught some fish and ate coconuts, too.

Need help…
Hello! My name is Edward Smith. I’m 15 years old. Now I want to play football with my friends but I can’t.

I was on a boat trip with my friends. We came from Portugal but I’ve never seen them again. I just remember that we were relaxing and out of nowhere we hit another ship, and then I woke up on this island!
I don’t know how long I’ve been here. I just want to leave! I feel alone in the middle of nowhere when I’m doing nothing. I swim a bit to spend the time and cool off. My lunch and dinner are always fish, and as a dessert I eat a banana! I have written help in the sand,… Maybe someone could see it…..

So I ended up here on this island alone…

Well, hello!

I’m Carolina Costa and I’m 16 years old. I like to play basketball and stroll through places, cities, or countries I’ve never known. At this moment I’m on a lost island, Cíes Island!

Here, the weather is a mixture of hot and cold. The island is peaceful and calm, but at night it’s very scaring.

At this point I’d be with my best friend on an incredible weekend. I would go for a walk with her on this beautiful and super amazing island, but she got sick and had to stay in the hotel, so I decided to go for a walk when I got stuck on this island. I’ve been here for a few days… My family and the authorities should be looking for me, but for now I can’t see anything.

I’m hungry and very thirsty! I feel lonely, abandoned and sad, but I also feel peace and quiet! I spend my time alone walking. Sometimes I find some kind of animal I don’t know… I try to investigate, but there is no network. I’m trying to find a way out, but I’ve seen that I can’t find anything., I’m sitting looking at the sea with the desire to dive into that warm water, but I’m afraid! I’m trying to survive and getting away with it well, but sometimes it’s complicated! I’m hungry, I’m afraid to die here and know that nothing and no one wanted to know about me! I can’t communicate with anyone, no one is looking for me, so it seems that no one misses me,…
kisses

Hello,

My name is Afonso Fernandes. I am 16 years old and if you are  reading this I need help!

I was travelling by plane with my parents to the United States to go on vacation when suddenly the plane started to fall very fast, I don’t  remember very well what happened next because I must have passed out  when the plane fell into the water.

I was woken up a while later by an old man and his granddaughter on a small  island in the middle of nowhere in the Atlantic Ocean. The weather is very hot and the island has some trees and fish. I don’t know how long we have been here… We are still surviving from some fish that we have caught and sleeping in a small hut that we have built with some sticks and palm leaves.

I am afraid of not being able to survive so that I can see my parents and  friends again because I miss them so much and of course my room and home.

Please send help!

Message in a bottle

Hello,

My name is Marco and I am from Portugal, a small country next to Spain. I am a doctor, and I have two amazing children and a wonderful wife. Everything was perfect in my life, but like some people like to say, nothing lasts forever. In January 2035, I decided to go on a cruise, just me, as a spiritual retreat… The cruise was supposed to leave from Portugal and go on a journey all over Europe. First, the cruise went to Spain and then to England. When the cruise was on its way to Denmark an accident happened. I still don’t know how I survived and how I got to this island!

I have been here for more than a year. I am eating plants, fruit and fish! I never thought that I would miss meat and vegetables that much. I also miss my family, the clothes stores, the cinema, the cars and my work. I don’t know how long I am going to be left here by my own. I am going to put this message in a glass bottle, and throw it into the sea, not in the hope of being saved, but in the hope that someone knows my history.

Marco, February 2036

I don’t know where I am! I just know that I am on a tropical island near Brazil. I am Paul and I think that I am 16 years old. I am Portuguese and I enjoyed playing with my friends, but I don’t know where they are now.
I was in Brazil on vacation with my family and they had the idea to travel on a cruise along the Brazillian coast. I just remember that the cruise hit a rock, but I don’t know why.
Last two weeks I’ve been alone! I don’t know where everybody is! Are they dead? That’s my greatest fear. I’ll pray to God a lot, so I can see them all again, I miss them a lot.
Lately, I’ve been a little weak and sad, because what I’ve been eating to be alive is bananas and mangoes. That’s what I’ve found on the last days.
I have nothing to do, so I will just pray and wait until someone sees this or the worst, die. Goodbye…

SOS! I need help, please read this message until the end!
My name is Margarida Saramago, I’m 15 years old and I’m Portuguese. I have been stuck on a remote island for three days. And here’s how it happened:
My family decided to travel to another country during summer vacation.
We left Portugal on a ship destined to Brazil. In the middle of the trip the ship started to sink, we were told that we had to get on the lifeboats to survive. Hours later the navy came to rescue everyone, we started to get on their ships, I was the last on the lifeboat when suddenly I fell into the ocean. Next thing I know, I’m alone on an island.
So, I’m writing this message, if someone is reading this please warn the authorities. I don’t know where I am, just that I’m probably near Cabo Verde (The navy that rescued us was from there).
I’m surviving by eating small fish, wild plants, fruits and berries. I sleep on a mattress of leaves and I take showers on a small waterfall.
Instead of spending my time on my phone or computer, like I did at home, I dive on the beach and explore the island, I discover new plants and animals every day. The island is actually very beautiful and the temperature is very hot. But I must be careful with the wild animals and the poisonous plants. I miss my family and friends everyday… I’m afraid of what might happen. I feel hopeless.
