Michael Gerard Tyson was born on the 30th June, 1966 in New York. He was married three times and has eight children, one deceased.
Mike Tyson had a difficult childhood until 11 going to a reformatory for young offenders, where he began boxing motivated by the director, a former boxer. At thirteen he was discovered. He managed to become world champion Olympic middleweight, champion youth boxing in the U.S.A. and junior world champion. In 1985, he gave up his move to professional boxing, winning the world heavyweight title aged just 20 and reached two more world titles the following year. In the 90s gave up his decay. He lost his titles, was accused of rape and consequently, sentenced to six years in prison, serving only three years for good behavior. In prison he converted to Islam. Served his sentence, he returned to combat and in 1996 came the famous fight with Holyfield, where Tyson bites his adversary in the ear in the fight, leading to his disqualification and consequently his removal from competition for a year, never getting back to his status as ideal boxer.
