Born on December 5th 1901 in Chicago, Walter Elias Disney quickly gains a passion for animated cartoons, becoming a cartoon drawer and creating his own caricature agency.

Mickey the mouse, the greater Disney´s creation, was made in 1928 and increased Walt’s budget, opening new horizons and making possible the production of bigger projects.

Aware of his artistic limitations and the amount of work that represented the making of animated cartoons, Disney worked with his brother and with a friend, who had huge talent.

Walter Disney was a visionary. In 1937 Walter created the company’s first feature film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. This movie’s success enables him to bet in new movies: “Pinocchio”, “Fantasia”, “Dumbo”, “Bambi”… All his movies were successful and are still seen today.

In the 50s, Walter Disney gets involved in the TV business. In 1955 he opened his first theme park, the Disneyland.

Disney passed away in 1966, leaving his heirs an enormous empire that never stopped growing.
